Audio Files and Local Processing
Decibellum lets you select audio files on your device and convert them into supported output formats. The audio files you select, the converted output files, and conversion history are processed and stored locally on your device. Decibellum does not upload your selected audio files to Kaira Apps servers.
You can delete converted files or clear conversion history inside the app where those controls are available. You can also remove local app data by uninstalling the app or using Android system storage controls.
Information We Collect or Share
Kaira Apps does not operate an account system for Decibellum and does not ask you to create a username or password.
Decibellum uses Google Mobile Ads to show advertisements in the free version. Google Mobile Ads may collect or share data such as approximate location, device or other identifiers, app interactions, diagnostics, and crash logs. This data may be used for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and compliance.
Decibellum uses Google Play Billing for in-app purchases. Payment information is handled by Google Play. Kaira Apps does not collect or store your credit card or other financial payment details.
Permissions
Decibellum may request access needed to select, read, play, convert, save, and share audio files. On supported Android versions, Decibellum may also request notification permission so conversion progress can be shown while processing continues.
Third-Party Services
Decibellum uses the following third-party services:
- Google Mobile Ads, for advertisements and related measurement.
- Google Play Billing, for one-time purchase processing and purchase restoration.
- Google Play services, where required by Android and Google Play distribution.
Google's handling of data is described in Google's own privacy materials, including the Google Privacy Policy.
Data Retention and Deletion
Audio files and conversion history controlled by Decibellum remain on your device until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Kaira Apps does not keep a server-side copy of your selected audio files.
For privacy or deletion requests related to Decibellum, contact support@kairaapps.com. For data handled directly by Google services, you may also need to use Google's account and privacy controls.
Children
Decibellum is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, legal requirements, or third-party services change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when this policy was last updated.
